Doubles Tournaments
- Once the tournament begins, please be ready to play. If the tournament director invites you to the table 3 times and you either ignore or refuse the invitation, you are out of the tournament, and a substitute will be used.
- If there is a no-show, a substitute who has not entered in the tournament will be allowed to enter.
- Spouses, relatives, boyfriends/girlfriends, or anyone who lives the same physical house are not allowed to be partners. If this happens, please notify the tournament director so you can be paired with another partner.
- Talking about your hand to your partner privately using instant messages is considered cheating. If your partner is trying to cheat, notify the tournament director. If you try to cheat and he/she notifies the tournament director, you will be banned from the league.
- Substitutes are only allowed in the first round if the game has not started, or the second round if the team has a bye. Otherwise, the team missing the player forfeits after 10 minutes and the other team advances.
- Spectators are allowed to watch, but should refrain from conversation at the game table out of courtesy. Everyone should have the right not to be distracted and have a fair chance to win.
